This science update from Nature details how scientists from the University of Cambridge were able to use an environmentally friendly method to create long rope-like fibres from nanotubes.

Hm. Is this metohd is really enviromentally friendly?


These optimized fibers could have far reaching implications beyond simple bridges. Any structure that will require strength to support a heavy load would be an excellent canidate.
